Weekapaug Summer House

The design for this new 5-bedroom house takes advantage of thoughtful massing to reduce the perceived volume of the house, while echoing the multiple gables of the cottages that line the street of this summer community. The "front door" used by family and guests is at the back of the house and opens to an oak-wainscoted entry hall that immediately draws the eye to views across the fen and to the ocean beyond. As one moves through the house, drawn by the light, the spaces open up to the exterior through multiple sun-drenched windows.
